Caregiver (CNA/Experienced Caregiver) – Granbury, TX

BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in the Granbury area.
Schedule:
- PRN/Flexible scheduling (hours to be discussed during the interview)
Responsibilities:
- Assist with transfers using a Hoyer lift
- Provide toileting and personal care assistance
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment
Client Needs:
- Experience caring for clients with dementia or cognitive impairment is highly preferred.
- The client can become emotionally distressed and agitated, so patience, compassion, and strong de-escalation skills are essential.
- Caregivers must be comfortable providing total care and assisting with mobility.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
- Hoyer lift experience required
- Dementia care experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
- CPR certification preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
