Join BrightStar Care’s First Response Nursing Team – High Acuity Cases

Are you an experienced nurse who thrives in fast-paced, high-acuity environments? BrightStar Care is building an elite First Response Nursing Team to provide immediate staffing support for complex Workers’ Compensation and high-acuity cases across Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City.

We are seeking compassionate, skilled, and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who are comfortable stepping into challenging home care environments and making an immediate impact for clients with advanced medical needs.

Examples of Client Needs May Include:

• Trach and Ventilator Care
• Total Care / Bedbound Clients
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Care
• Hoyer Lift Transfers
• PEG Tubes / Enteral Feeding
• Non-Verbal Clients
• High-Acuity Skilled Nursing Cases
• Complex Mobility and Positioning Needs

What Makes This Team Different?

This team is designed to respond quickly to new cases requiring immediate staffing support. Nurses selected for this team receive premium incentive pay during the first 30 days following the client’s Start of Care date.

Premium Incentive Wages (First 30 Days from Start of Care):

LPN: $45/hour
RN: $55/hour

Standard Wages After Initial 30-Day Incentive Period:

LPN: $35/hour
RN: $45/hour

Shifts Available:

• Primarily 12-hour shifts
• Days, Nights, Weekends, and PRN opportunities
• Cases located throughout Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City
• Must maintain flexible availability for rapid starts and urgent staffing needs

Requirements:

• Active Nevada RN or LPN license with minimum 2 years nursing experience
• Experience with high-acuity or medically complex clients strongly preferred
• Experience with trach/vent care preferred
• Current BLS Certification
• Current Physical Exam
• Current 2-Step TB Test or Chest X-Ray if applicable
• Ability to walk, bend, lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
• Must be comfortable working in homes with pets (approximately 95% of clients have pets)
• Must be comfortable completing electronic charting and documentation accurately and timely
• Strong communication and documentation skills required
• Ability to pass background screening and drug testing
• All credentials and compliance requirements must be completed before consideration
