Join BrightStar Care, America’s #1 In‑Home Care Agency. We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver or Personal Care Attendant for a recurring weekend overnight shift in Simi Valley. This is an ongoing per diem assignment supporting a client with physical limitations and daily living needs. You will provide hands-on care in a home setting while promoting comfort, dignity, and safety.
Schedule
- Every Saturday overnight shift
- 10:00 PM – 10:00 AM
- Ongoing weekly assignment (long-term opportunity)
- Per diem scheduling (no guaranteed additional hours outside assigned shift)

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving or home care experience preferred (e.g., CNA, RNA, Med Tech, Caregiver, Personal Care Attendant, DSP I or II, or similar roles)
- Experience with skilled care or complex care needs strongly preferred
- Ability to provide respectful, patient-centered support
- Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks, including catheter care (training/support provided if applicable)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable, punctual, and compassionate personality
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support with light housekeeping tasks
- Prepare simple meals and assist with nutrition needs
- Provide catheter care assistance as directed in the care plan
- Monitor client safety and comfort throughout the shift
- Support mobility and positioning as needed
- Report changes in condition to the care team or supervising nurse
- Follow all care instructions under RN supervision
