Looking for a meaningful nursing role with one-on-one patient care?
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide overnight care for a pediatric patient with seizure activity and a J-tube in a home setting. This is a great opportunity to build strong patient relationships while delivering skilled, focused care.
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide overnight care for a pediatric patient with seizure activity and a J-tube in a home setting. This is a great opportunity to build strong patient relationships while delivering skilled, focused care.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Patient Needs:
- Seizure monitoring and intervention
- J-tube feeding and care
- Ongoing assessment and support in a home environment
- Must be comfortable riding the school bus with the patient when needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care per the Plan of Care
- Monitor and document seizure activity
- Manage J-tube feedings and site care
- Assist with daily care and ensure patient safety
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio LPN license
- Current CPR certification
- G-tube/J-tube experience preferred (paid training provided)
- Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Recent negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Ability to ride the school bus with the patient
