We are actively hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing care in a home setting in Hilliard, Ohio. The patient is medically complex and requires care involving a ventilator, tracheostomy (trach), and G-tube. training is provided for nurses who are motivated to learn.
Important: The patient’s mother prefers one consistent nurse to cover all scheduled shifts, allowing for continuity of care and strong relationship-building.
Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday
- 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Consistent, long-term case
Job Duties:
- Provide skilled pediatric nursing care in the home
- Manage and monitor ventilator, trach, and G-tube care
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient condition and document care accurately
- Communicate with family members and clinical team
- Maintain a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment
Requirements:
- Active LPN license in the State of Ohio
- Experience with trach, ventilator, or G-tube care preferred (training provided)
- Current CPR certification
- Recent negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
