Position Overview
BrightStar Care is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one home care services for a client in New Albany, OH. This full-time position offers a consistent schedule and clinical support in a home care setting. Responsibilities include skilled nursing care with G-tube and tracheostomy support. Prior experience is preferred.
This role is well-suited for nurses seeking stable hours and the opportunity to provide individualized care in a structured home environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in the client’s home
- Perform G-tube and tracheostomy care per plan of care
- Accurately document care and patient status
- Communicate with family members and clinical leadership
- Follow established care plans and safety protocols
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive care environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio LPN license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Recent TB test or chest X-ray
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Clear and effective verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with G-tube or tracheostomy care
- Pediatric or home care experience
- Willingness to learn additional clinical skills as needed
