Child Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Interact directly with the individual(s) receiving care throughout the day in an engaging, pleasant, and appropriate manner
- Follow the care need instructions for the care recipient.
- Supervise creative play and learning activities
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, naps, and companionship
- Provide a review of the day’s activities with the parent/ guardian before leaving
Job Requirements
- Must be 18yrs or older
- Education and/or training in the care of children, and demonstrated experience in either a formalized child care setting (in-home or center-based), school, individualized nanny experience, summer camp, or a pediatric program.
- Current registration on California’s Home Care Aide Registry (if not registered, we will show you how)
- Certified CPR, negative TB skin test or chest x-ray, clean background check
- Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
